Οι παρείσακτοι είναι μια μπάντα που παίζει μελωδικό και δυνατό πανκ ροκ το οποίο ακροβατεί ανάμεσα σε πρωτοδευτεροτριτογενήτικο. Κι όμως!
Το αηδίασα είναι το κομμάτι που ξεκινάει το cd και είναι δυνατο πανκ ροκ οπως προείπα και δίνει τον χαρακτήρα που επρόκειτο να ακολουθήσει στο demo. Καταρχάς να σημειωθεί ότι το cd έχει έναν βρώμικο αλλά πολύ καλό ήχο και ακούγεται όχι απλά άνετα, μονορούφι.
Μετα το αηδίασα ακολουθεί το πολιτική καταδίκη όπου οι μελωδίες ελευθερώνονται, πλέον μαζί με το γρήγορο μελωδικό πανκ μπαίνει στο παιχνίδι και μια σκιά πειραματισμού, χαλαρώματος με πιο χορευτική αλλά adrenaline διάθεση.
Αυτό που ένιωσα διάχυτο στο cd demo όσες φορές και να το άκουσα ήταν οι στάχτες των Πάρκινσονς. Είναι με βεβαιότητα 200% ότι όποιος γούσταρε τους Πάρκινσονς θα γουστάρει με τα χίλια και τους παρείσακτους. Απλά γιατί στέκουν στο ίδιο ύφος συνδιαζοντας μελωδιες και πάθος και με πολύ ωραίους στίχους που άλλοτε ειναι πιο προσωπικοί και άλλοτε καθαρά πολιτικοί.
Ειδικά κομμάτια όπως το ΕΛ.ΑΣ. εάλω είναι άψογα ισορροπημένα ανάμεσα σε αυτά τα στοιχεία του πανκ. Στο κλείσιμο του cd συναντάμε το υπέροχο οι παλιάτσοι το οποίο ας έρθει κάποιος να μου πει ότι δεν του ξυπνάει συναίσθημα από κάθε άποψη. Η φωνή μπαίνει υπνωτισμένη μην διστάζοντας να δείξει συναίσθημα και όχι απλά ένταση. Κομματάρα και γενικώς το cd demo μοιάζει πολύ λίγο με τα 4 αυτά κομμάτια, σε αφήνει δηλαδη να θες κι άλλο σαφώς..
Το μόνο που μπορούμε να κάνουμε είναι να αναμένουμε αλλά νιώθω ότι πρόκειται για το επόμενο “μπαμ” στο diy και μην ξεχνάμε ότι τώρα τελευταία έχουν εμφανιστεί κι άλλες αξιόλογες μπάντες όπως οι Indico και οι Indibah και άλλοι. Ενα cd λοιπόν που μοιάζει ανθισμένο ,όπως μοιάζει και η αντιεμπορική αυτή μουσική σκηνή.
Σας παρουσιάζω απλά το σημαντικότερο κατά πολλούς κομμάτι στην ιστορία του πανκ. Το the decline πρόκειται για ένα 18λεπτο πανκ κομμάτι που μοιάζει με μια συρραφή μικρότερων κομματιών αλλά ακούγοντάς το συνειδητοποιείς ότι οι Nofx όντως έχουν φτιάξει ένα 18λεπτο πανκ ύμνο. Κομμάτι που οι στίχοι του για πολλούς θεωρούνται αξεπέραστοι και οι μελωδίες του παραμένουν ότι καλύτερο βγήκε την προηγούμενη δεκαετία στο “μη mtv punk” τομέα.

Οι system of a down είναι 4 αρμένιοι που υποτίθεται ότι παίζουν nu metal αλλά ούτε για πλάκα δεν παίζουν nu metal. Αν θέλουμε να του βάλουμε ταμπέλα πρέπει να πούμε ότι παίζουν hardcore, nu metal, pop, punk, ethnik, crossover κάτι. Αυτά τα δύο cd που ουσιαστικά βγήκαν και τα δύο σε έναν χρόνο με διαφορά έξι μηνών ήταν το ρέκβιεμ της μπάντας καθώς πλέον έχουν αποφασίσει να μην υπάρχουν προς το παρόν. Ευτυχώς για μας ήταν και ότι καλύτερο έχουν βγάλει και γενικα ότι καλύτερο έχει βγάλει ο σκληρός ήχος τα τελευταία 20 χρόνια.
Πρέπει να πούμε καταρχάς ότι δεν τους γουστάρει ο περισσότερος κόσμος, δεν βρίσκει τίποτα το μοναδικό στους system of a down. Ίσως αν εισχωρίσουν λίγο παραμέσα πχ. στο cigaro του mesmerize και διαβάσουν τους στίχους που κράζουν την Αμερική των στρατιωτικών επεμβάσεων με άκρως αντιεμπορικό τρόπο να τους εκτιμούσαν περισσότερο.

Οι system ειναι η μπάντα που όλοι τους κράζουν χωρίς πραγματικά να στέκει τίποτα από ότι τους προσάπτουν. Είναι η μπάντα που βγάζει δίσκους χιλιετηρίδων και ανήκει στους εκλεκτούς. Είναι η μπάντα που λένε εμπορική ενώ είναι η μόνη μπάντα που τολμάει να σου ρίξει στην μάπα καφρίλα και ντραμς στα 300bpm και καπάκι να γυρίσει το κεφάλι σου με ένα ρεφραίν φτιαγμένο από τις χρυσές εποχές της DISCO !! (violent pornography). Είναι η μπάντα που φέρνει τον Μπιάφρα στο προσκύνιο με μοναδικές στο στυλ του ερμηνείες (this cokaine makes me feel I m on this song) και καπάκι σε ταξιδεύει με μία μπαλάντα για νεκρούς στρατιώτες στον βωμό του τίποτα. Είναι μια μπάντα με εκπληκτικούς στίχους που ουδέποτε εκτιμήθηκαν. Μια μπάντα με εκπληκτική ικανότητα σύνθεσης ανεξίτηλων κομματιών που 10 χρόνια μετά τα ακούς και ακόμα έχουν να σου πουν τόσα πολλά. Είναι η μπάντα που πρέπει να μελετηθεί και οι περισσότεροι δεν ακούνε μουσική πλέον αλλά ραδιοφωνικά hits. Για αυτό και είναι γνωστοί μόνο λόγο του chop suey που είχε σπάσει τα κοντέρ πριν 6 χρόνια.
Τι να πούμε για το ” Why dont presidents fight the wars? Why do they ALWAYS send the poor? And were the fuck are you!?”
Για τα cd τα δύο αυτά δεν έχω να πω κάτι πέραν του ότι αγγίζουν την τελειότητα. Ότι ήταν οι Pink Floyd για την ψυχεδέλεια και την ποιότητα είναι οι System Of A Down για τον σκληρό ήχο και τον αναρχικό στίχο. Οι πιστοί προσέλθετε. Θεωρώ καλό να βάλω κάποια κομμάτια για να πάρετε γεύσεις.
